Dr. Raymond Ee-Mook Chong is a Board-certified adult/child/adolescent psychiatrist.
Dr. Chong is a graduate of Rutgers University-New Jersey Medical School. He completed his psychiatry residency at Rutgers University-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he was the recipient of the 2005-2006 Resident Teacher of the Year, as elected by medical students, and was Chief Resident in 2006-2007. He did his undergraduate work in biological sciences at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
A Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Chong has been working in the field of outpatient adult/child/adolescent psychiatry since 2010. He is also a consulting psychiatrist for Gateway School in Carteret, NJ, a therapeutic school for children with special needs. He continues to teach as a voluntary faculty member at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Dr. Chong’s research experience includes the investigation of “Prescription Opioid Medication-Related Admissions to a University Teaching Hospital” under Dr. Jeffrey Berman, MD., Department of Psychiatry, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School; and “Internet Use Among Psychiatric Patients,” a Grand Rounds Presentation.
He is affiliated with the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
